Snoooz now includes built-in tone analysis, allowing generated replies and email drafts to match your voice and writing style — whether it's friendly, professional, casual, or formal.
In this guide, you'll learn how to:
Access the Email Tone & Writing Style settings
Create or generate a custom tone profile
Apply the tone profile to your drafts and replies
Troubleshoot or edit your tone settings
This ensures emails written by Snoooz feel consistent, personalized, and aligned with your brand.
How to Set Your Email Tone & Writing Style
You can configure the tone profile by opening the mailbox settings.
For Admins
👉 Go to Users & Mailboxes → Mailbox Settings
For individual users
👉 Go to Personal Settings → Email Tone & Writing Style
Step 2 — Choose How You Want to Define Your Tone
You have the following options:
Option 1 — Manually Enter a Tone Prompt
If you already have a tone guide or prompt (from GPT or written manually), simply paste it into the text box.
Example tone prompt:
“Write in a friendly, confident tone. Use clear sentences, avoid jargon, and keep responses concise but helpful.”
Option 2 — Generate Tone from Pasted Emails
Click Generate from pasted emails
Paste a few example emails into the text box
Click Generate
Snoooz will analyze your writing and automatically create a personalized tone profile.
Option 3 — Auto-Generate from Sent Emails
This option analyzes your most recent 20 sent emails automatically.
⚠️ Make sure your mailbox is connected — otherwise, Snoooz can’t scan your emails.
This process may take a few minutes. Once complete, the tone profile will appear in the text box.
Step 3 — Review and Save
Once your tone analysis is complete:
Review the content
Make any adjustments if needed
Click Save
Saving applies the tone to all future Snoooz-generated emails.
What Happens Next?
Once saved:
Snoooz will automatically use your tone in replies and drafts
You no longer need to include tone instructions in custom prompts for rules
All automated communication will stay consistent and on-brand
Getting a 401 Error?
You may need to disconnect and reconnect your mailbox. Your token may have expired.
