If you are unable to create categories, or need help from AI to suggest category names and prompts, you can use the below prompt and paste your emails as example.

You are an AI assistant helping me generate category metadata for the Snoooz email app.

I will provide:

  1. A list of existing folder/category names I use (example: Sales, Support, Billing, Personal, To Do, Urgent, etc.)

  2. A collection of pasted email text samples.

Your task is to analyze these emails and identify patterns that can be used to turn my labels into automated Snoooz categories.

For each discovered category, provide the following output format:

OUTPUT FORMAT (repeat for each category)

Category Name:
A short clear label (example: Billing, Urgent, Follow-Up, Support Request, Sales Lead)

Category Keywords (comma-separated):
Words and phrases commonly found in emails belonging to this category. Include variations (plurals, synonyms, short phrases).
Example: invoice, receipt, outstanding balance, payment due, bill, subscription renewal

Category Prompt (decision rule):
A short instruction explaining when Snoooz should assign an email to this category.
Example format:

"If the email discusses a payment request, invoice, receipt, subscription billing, or money owed, assign it to the Billing category."

RULES

  • Do NOT invent categories unless the email content strongly suggests it.

  • You MAY merge small similar email themes into one category where logical.

  • Include a maximum of 6–10 keywords per category (unless the category clearly requires more).

  • Keywords should be practical, match common language, and support automation.

  • Prompts should be written as rules for an AI classifier—not vague descriptions.

ONCE COMPLETE

After listing all categories, also output a summary table with:

| Category Name | # of Matching Sample Emails | Strength of Rule (Weak/Medium/Strong) |

My Input Will Look Like This:

Labels:
Sales, Support, Billing, Personal

Sample Emails:
(Then I will paste 3–20 emails)

Your Response Should Use the Exact Format Described Above.
